Tigers Take on Districts!

This Thursday our Varsity Volleyball team is heading down to St. Joe to compete in the District Tournament. Our Tigers are seeded 2nd and will play the winner of KC Lutheran and Mayview. On Wednesday, I was able to interview senior, Maddie Sims, and ask about how she felt the regular season went and how prepared they are for Districts.

“I feel like we have had some unexpected events that have worked against us, but we as a team have done well at working together to overcome the obstacles,” she says. When I asked how she thinks they will fare in their first district match up, Maddie said, “I think we have prepared all season and as long as we play our hardest, we should take the win.” I know that the rest of the Tiger community is hoping for the same.

Cadance Rogge shared some insight on how the team plans to bond and get ready to go before Thursday evening's game. "We are planning on having team breakfast at IHOP to make sure everyone is awake and ready to play." Since we don't have school on Thursday, everyone make sure they head to St. Joe to support our Lady Tigers. The game starts at 7pm.
