Story By Madison Smith

The Wellington-Napoleon E-Sports team has had a very successful season, with a record of 10-1. They have worked extremely hard to work their way up to where they are now, but there’s no surprise of how well they're doing because they have competed in state for the past 2 years.

Last Thursday, the 21st, the WN E-Sports team got the chance to play in the Quarter Finals of State in Overwatch. Nate Anderson the E-Sports coach before the game said he felt nervous, but is extremely hyped. “I believe our team will bring all the energy, hard work and dedication in order to secure this win”, Nate stated.

They competed very hard and tried their best, but came up with a loss making their team 10-1. One senior on the E-Sports team, Andrew Travis, mentioned how the season was pretty great with a very skilled group of players and how his favorite memory was chanting “It's time to play the game!” in a huddle with the other varsity players.

Overall, this team stayed very busy this season working, competing, and focusing hard throughout the season. Congratulations on your success, and good luck to the next season that's coming!
