Story By Mia Hodson
As we all know a good competitive tradition has hit Wellington Napoleon in the last few years.
Powderpuff flag football became a favorite memory for many students at the school. This rivalry between the pink and blue team is a truly unpredictable game.
I asked both blue team and pink team coaches some insight on how they think the night on the field will end. We all probably have our own opinions but these coaches have a very strong and judgmental one.
Brody Best, coach of the blue team, had a specific image on how the game would go down, “We are going to blow them out, the other coaches can't coach or draft.” Brody has a very strong opinion that this will be the best game to be held on the Bodenhamer Field. He had a warning that he wanted to share with the opposing coaches stating,” We are Superman's kryptonite. You better bring a fire extinguisher because we are going to light you up.”
Unsurprisingly, the pink team coaches would not let this smack talk from the blue team slide. Joe heater felt fired up by these threatening words and used them as motivation to win. “We all know Jonny can hear our victory from a mile away.”
No one knew who would win, but the coaches sure did put their blood, sweat, and attitudes into this game.
I hope everyone had fun and this school tradition stays.
