Team Talks: Nate Anderson

Today, I had the rare opportunity to interview Nate Anderson, our technology director at school. Here is what I learned:

A day in the shoes of Nate starts like this: He begins his morning with a McDonald's coffee. After being energized, he jumps straight into his work and prepares to help staff and students with all their technology needs. He monitors virtual servers, future patches, and updates, and works with vendors for upcoming projects. Not every day is the same however, most days are random due to having a one-person IT department.

When not at work, Nate enjoys many things. When the weather is nice, he spends much of his time fishing and kayaking. when the weather is not so nice, he plays video games or watches movies with his family. Other times Nate likes to take trips with his family.

Time for some fun facts. Nate enjoys listening to Lofi beats as he works. Interestingly, Nate is the proud owner of a motorized kayak. Nate has 1,700 hours in CS: GO. He was also on a semi-professional esports team.
