Scholar Bowl Win

Wednesday the Scholar Bowl team kicked off their season with a win against Santa Fe at home. "It was good, we were down a couple due to all of the sickness, but it went very well overall," said Rachel Mrosko, the sponsor of the Scholar Bowl team. How you get points in Scholar Bowl is the first team that buzzes and answers the questions correctly, gets the points. They can be any random question the contestants just have to be ready. "The easiest question I got asked was who created the theory of relativity," said Brody Gaddy when talking about the questions he got asked on Wednesday. "Yes for sure. My body shakes a lot, but this is my second year doing Scholar Bowl so I know what to expect," said Ashlyn Myer when I asked her about her nerves before matches. 

Scholar Bowl has a competition against Lone Jack at home next Wednesday. They will also have to go to Hardin to compete, in conferences, and districts. Make sure you congratulate the Scholar Bowl team!
