MS first track meet

Tuesday, April 2nd middle school competed in their 1st track meet at Higginsville last night. It was rescheduled from Monday at 4:00 pm due to dangerous weather. I talked to Coach Mead about how she thought her team did last night and she said “I am so proud of them. Even with the weather, they went out and did their best.” She was very impressed with the team on their 1st track meet of the season. Take a look at this list of athletes that placed in the top three:

• Ryland Laban-1st place shot put 

• Boys 4x200 relay-1st place

• Wyatt Miller- 2nd place long jump

• Sawyer Evans- 3rd place Triple Jump

• Hunter Sassmann- 3rd place High Jump, 2nd place 100m dash

• Josh Bradshaw- 2nd place 400m dash

• Vivienne Hoffman- 3rd place High Jump

• Girls 4x200 relay- 3rd place

• Girls 4x400 relay- 3rd place

Coach Mead says she and Coach Florence are very optimistic in bringing back more hardware this season. You can catch the MS track team as they compete Monday April 8th at 4:00 in Sweet Springs.
