Makayla's Bread Stand

Makayla Simsheuser is a junior here at Wellington Napoleon. This summer she started up her own business. Bread baking has become one of her passions. It all started when she started making bread as a hobby and giving it to her family and friends to try. They told her that her bread was really good and she could probably start selling it. That's just what she did. A few days later, Brad Raymond started building Makayla's bread stand. “Over the summer I would bake every night because people would buy out my stand everyday, but now I just bake on the nights I don’t have sports,” said Makayla. Her stand has much more than just loafs of bread in it. “Pumpkin bars, cookies, muffins, and key chains are also available. These aren’t an everyday thing, but they are in there pretty often.” said Makayla when talking about her stand.

Makayla has a little pink box that you can just drop your money in when you buy any of her products. She runs on an honor system, but if you steal from the stand her mom will post you on Facebook. “I’ve had blueberry bread, blueberry muffins, apple cinnamon bread, and apple cinnamon muffins and they’ve all been great.” said Raelee Rukavina.
