With the days dwindling down until homecoming more and more are securing their dates. 

Last Friday night there were five homecoming proposals after the football game. If  you read last week's Prowl story, you know that Garret Burec, also known as Gare-Bear, was looking for his lucky gal. Well, Friday night she said yes. Addison Waddell said yes to Garret's sign that said, “Hoco would be sweet with you.”  This pairing worked out perfectly because one of his best friends, Taten Kolkmeyer, asked Kendall Howell. “I was really happy he asked me because I wanted to be in a group with Addison,” said Kendall. Those weren’t the only girls asked last Friday night. Makayla Simsheuser, Raelee Rukavina, and Brilynn Zykan were asked by Jared Raymond, Maddox Blystone, and Joe Heater. Joe and Maddox planned to ask Raelee and Brilynn together. “I heard Maddox and Joe were going to ask Raelee and Brilynn Friday night and I just thought this would be the best time to ask Makayla,” said Jared when talking about his planning process. Jared asked Makayla with a sign that said “Hope you have enough energy to go to Hoco with me.” With the sign he gave her Alanis because those are her favorite energy drinks. 

There's still time to find your right one. Homecoming is October 5th starting at 7 pm. If you have got asked to homecoming send pictures in to the yearbook staff to be featured in the yearbook!
