This year our Varsity E-sports teams have been getting a lot of the spotlight. This leaves our JV team not getting the recognition that they deserve. They have had 10 games between JV1 and JV2. JV1 is currently 4-1 and JV2 is 0-5. We were able to get an interview with the E-sports coach, Nate Anderson. We asked him what he thought of the JV teams. His answer was, "I think that JV 1 is doing great. I think that they are improving a lot. I think that JV 2 has a phenomenal work ethic and has taken all of their challenges and has improved upon them." When asked if there were any players that stuck out to him he said, "For JV1, Aaron Maples has shown a lot of talent, Jawz has shown a lot of communication skills and I would say Mack as well for his all-round growth since the start. For JV 2, Grace Parkman for learning the game so quickly, and Sage for taking the leadership role while John is absent." When we asked him what he thinks the team needs to improve on, he said, "They all just need to work on game sense, but overall I think that they all have improved from the start." Both teams are playing Thursday night. They are playing (team 1 and team 2) Our JV team has been overshadowed by the varsity E-Sports team. This is the midpoint of their season. Let's all hope for a win from both teams! Good luck JV E-Sports!
