The Lady Tigers volleyball team got the two seed, which means they received a first-round bye and didn't have to play Tuesday night. Thursday night they faced off against KC Lutheran. ¨We wanted to win the entire game and we fought for the win, but we were so scared to make mistakes; we freaked ourselves out," stated sophomore, Mia Hodson. It was a very back-and-forth game, and evenly matched. "The energy was high and we really wanted it, but we came out with a loss." said varsity setter, Izabel Lopez.

Senior, Maddie Sims, has a positive outlook on the loss. "I think we put everything we had into the game. We put everything together and just tried our hardest. Even if it wasn't the outcome we wanted, everyone definitely was leaving everything on the court." Maddie played a little bit of everything this year and was a big contributor to the team.

That game marked the end of a great season. "It was heartbreaking because I feel like I left my heart on that court and it's over," said senior Cadance Rogge. All three seniors took it very hard because they had put a lot of time and dedication into the program.

Mrs. Shannon already has a meeting scheduled for any 8th- 11th-grade girl interested in wanting to play volleyball next year. It will be Thursday, October 26 in the Little Gym at 7:40.
