The Coffee Shack had its grand opening over this past weekend in Wellington, and is definitely being kept busy.
Over this past weekend the small town of Wellington gained another great business. Wellington has gained some great small businesses over the past couple of years. Route 24, and even a baked goods business owned by Well-Nap student Makayla Simsheuser to name a few. The newest addition to the businesses of Wellington is the Coffee Shack, which is located right at the Tiger City Garage. The Coffee Shack is family-owned and run by the Rukavina family. This last Saturday was the grand opening of the highly-anticipated Coffee Shack. The Rukavinas received plenty of business from our small and supportive community. Business was booming that first day, and at one point Wellington-Napoleon legend, Diane Rukavina, had to quickly run to the store to purchase more milk for the coffee shop.
The Coffee Shack is open Tuesday through Sunday every week from 6-8 a.m. This allows students to stop by before school to order a delicious cinnamon roll or maybe a sweet iced coffee. Some featured breakfast menu items include cinnamon rolls, apple and cherry turnovers, and even a plate of fresh biscuits and gravy. The Coffee Shack has a variety of different coffees and coffee flavors. You are able to order your coffee with the classic flavors such as white chocolate, vanilla, and caramel. Get excited though, because you can now even order your coffee with the brand new seasonal flavor of pumpkin spice. The Coffee Shack gives you options such as iced or hot lattes and offers decaf coffee as well.
So as you're on your way to school be sure to be on the lookout for the Coffee Shack every Tuesday through Sunday, which probably won’t be hard to miss with the line of people ready to order their morning coffee!
