AWP Podcast

When you think of AWP, what do you think of ? Hopefully you think of Joe Heater's new podcast. Joe Heater and Elijah Ownes started their very own podcast. Their podcast is called the AWP podcast. 

This name originated from Joe, Trotter, and Elijah having sleepovers together. They called these sleepovers "Anime Watch Parties.” "Elijah and I have always talked about starting a podcast, and we saw the opportunity and we took it. We were running low on hobbies so we wanted to start a new one up,” said Joe when talking about why they started their podcast.  

Every Saturday they come out with a new episode featuring a special guest. Jonny Hampton was the second special guest on the AWP podcast. “It was awesome. I was honored to be on the podcast,” commented Jonny when asked about being on the Podcast. They center that week's podcast around their special guest, and their hobbies. “We talked about football season, basketball season, video games, the NFL, and Elijah's recruiting process. I even got to showcase my elite ball knowledge,” added Jonny. 

They only started their podcast three weeks ago and they’re already up to 196 viewers, 46 hours of consumption. You can follow their instagram @awp_podcast. Stay tuned for this Saturday's episode with special guest…. Trotter Hughes!
