Art Club

There are many clubs here at WN. One being the Art club. They have done many things for our school over the years including; painting ceiling tiles for the sensory room and painting a mural outside the high school office.

There are five members in the art club so far this year, and the sponsor is Mrs. Jarman. They meet once a week every Wednesday from 3:30-5. During this time they work on personal art projects or big projects that they're working on.

One big project they're about to tackle is making a mural in the hallway outside the high school office. Their goal is to make it look more like a picture backdrop. One of the art club members is Makenna Lamunion. She first joined the art club at the beginning of her freshman year. “Art is not a newer passion. I’ve always loved drawings and had lots of coloring books,” said Makenna when talking about art. Something Makenna is looking forward to is going on a field trip with the art club at the end of the year, and getting to use some mediums she's never used before.
